Incentives can reach up to 50%

Xunta de Galicia offers industrial land through IGVS and the public company Xestur, with a discount of up to 50 percent of the price.
In addition, it is possible to be awarded surface rights, with a fee of 38 cents per square metre per year.

Financial support starting at 500 thousand euros

Igape promotes employment-generating activities, favouring the implementation of projects starting at 500,000 euros investment (200,000 euros for projects to be implemented in areas where special plans are in place). Such activities include non-repayable grants, when compatible with other state aid according to the Ministry of Economy's Regional Incentives Law.

95% Tax on Constructions, Installations and Works bonus in Doing Business councils

Entrepreneurial town councils are committed to make administrative simplification more accessible to companies, such as bonuses of up to 95% in the IBI (Real Estate Tax), IAE (Tax on Economic Activities) and ICIO (Tax on Constructions, Installations and Works) for those projects that involve new implantation or expansion of existing companies. More easy access to industrial land with the granting of major building permits within a maximum period of 30 calendar days since they have all the reports and more tax incentives with bonuses and incorporation of the right to surface to promote access to business land in their municipality.

Law 5/2017, dated 19 October, aims at promoting the implementation of business initiatives in Galicia, through the adoption of measures that facilitate the development, access and management of industrial land; improving the applicable regulations and the provision of appropriate incentives; as well as coordinating the actions by the different regional government and city government departments in this field.
This law also applies to business initiatives in the industrial sectors, of services related to the industrial and commercial sectors, which may require land for permanent facilities.
